Lent is a period of 40 days observed by Christians as a time of fasting, repentance, prayer, and reflection, leading up to Easter Sunday, symbolizing the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the wilderness.
Discover a wealth of engaging Lenten activities tailored for children and teenagers to deepen their spiritual journey during this holy season.
Presented in partnership with the National Eucharistic Congress, Heart of Prayer is a peaceful retreat led by Bishop Andrew Cozzens. Through eight engaging sessions, Bishop Cozzens explores the beauty and power of prayer, drawing from Scripture and the saints to offer practical, down-to-earth guidance. Participants are invited to quiet their hearts and encounter God more deeply in their life of prayer.
This Lent, consider joining Hallow, the Catholic prayer app designed to help you grow closer to Christ through guided meditations, Scripture reflections, the Rosary, and inspiring talks. Whether you have five minutes or fifty, Hallow offers meaningful ways to deepen your prayer life and stay rooted in God’s grace throughout this sacred season. Let this Lent be a time to slow down, listen to the Lord, and renew your heart through daily prayer.
The Retreat is self-paced. This means that you can participate wherever you are and whenever you have the time. It’s like a do-it-yourself retreat, but you’re not doing alone — we’re doing it with you! We hope you’ll join us.
